I am the proud owner of a pair of M22Ti bookshelf speakers that I believe I purchased 5 - 6 years ago. I have paired them with a Cambridgesoundworks sub for my music and home theater set up but I know I can have better sound for both music and movies if I get the right Axiom sub. Help - which is best for a basement man cave measuring 20 feet long by 11 feet wide by 7 feet tall with three concrete walls? Thanks to all responders

Lots of people are going to tell you to buy as much sub as you can possibly afford.

Unless you want to spend more money and have lots of space, I'd focus on a choice between the EP350 and EP500.

get the largest one you can afford, even if it means putting some money aside for a few months.
sound reproduction wise, the larger the sub, the better it is for reproducing the whole freq. range.

a good sub is like a solid foundation under a house.
it lets you hear more of what the producer intended to convey.

I have M22's paired with EP500...in a dedicated room similar size to yours, but 15 feet wide. It's an amazing combo! Movies have huge LFE, music very tight. You simply can't go wrong.

I've owned everything from Axiom from the 350 and up, except the 800. For that size the space a 350 would work great, and at a good price. On an unrelated note, I just purchased a JBL PRX715XLF sub with Class D amp and 1500 watts for our church. I can't believe how good this thing sounds. Starting to wonder about using one for HT.

Typical of Pro PA subs, it's only rated to 44Hz. I'm sure it cranks, but I would want something that went a lot lower than that.

+-3dB 37 down -10dB, but yes for our praise band it is unreal and fills the large space..
