I wanted to ask your advice concerning my system.

Over the last few years I have picked up speakers in a way that is not recomended. I got what I liked at the time but the system is not matched well. Here is what I have.

Paradigm 9se mains
Bohlender Graebener X1 Center
QS4 rears

Powered by an Outlaw Audio 1050

I just moved into a new home and am looking at this mismatch of speakers and am wondering if I should upgrade. I love the axioms QS4's I have but again the system seems mismatched. I enjoy the 1050 but is it underpowered for upgrading to axiom's larger speakers? The room I have my system in is large 18.5 x 26.5. Half the room is used for the big screen with the other half being used for a pool table.

Please let me know you thoughts on this one.

If you have the budget, you could consider upgrading to Axioms. Yes, M60's or M80's would be much better than Paradigm9's.

I'm sure you could get a good deal for the Paradigm's if you sold them. I have never heard of your center speaker so I cannot say anything about it.

M60's or M80's and a VP150 would sound excellent. QS8's also sound better than QS4's.

The Outlaw amps are very strong and would have no problem driving Axiom speakers. Axiom's are very, very sensitive and therefore need less power to play loud. I use a Denon 1602 (which is 100wpc at 6phm) to power the 6ohm QS8's and VP150 and the 4ohm M80's to very nice levels in a 400 sq foot room.

Picked up the 60's and will be moving my sub out in place of the new Outlaw Audio Sub. Have only heard great reviews and the footprint and $$ is perfect.

I picked up the LFM-1 last May and have been very happy with it. Nice, tight bass and not at all boomy. It blends very well with my M22's.

Went a little over board. Picked up the Axiom 60's, some 22's and also the Outlaw LFM. The 22's are going to be run off of a very basic reciever that controlls only music around the home (2 Klipse 9se in the formal living room, 2 Polk outdoor speakers and 2 Axiom 22's in the pool table room). My Outlaw 1050 will drive the 60's, the Outlaw LFM, QS4's and my center, that no one has heard of. I'm starting to feel that the speakers are taking up more room then the furniture in the house. I mounted the 22's about 6 ft up in the pool room. Too high?

If I can figure out how, I will send pics of the set up.
