Hello,

I am in the process of building a new home and have been weighing the pro's and cons of each..
Now the basement of the house (28'x48') will almost completely be mine with the exception of some of my kids toys taking up some of the room..

The way I have laid out the room, it will definitely accommodate the Epic 80 system with the exception of the sub being swapped for an SVS..
Now I have been dead set on getting the Axiom 80 system, and have spoken to Ian a few times in reference to what I was looking for in this room. But just recently came across a dealer in my area that is carrying the M&K line.( A little bit bigger, a bit more expensive, but still in my price range) and was just wondering if anyone had any comparisons or opinions on the difference in sound quality?? As I have not heard the Axioms yet..
I have also read many reviews on both but still at this time undecided..

My system will be mainly be 80% HT, 10% SAT/Sports and 10% Music???

Oh and the two systems that I am currently comparing are the:
Axiom M80ti, VP150, QS8's and a SVS 20-39PC-Plus
M&K S-150, S-150C, SS-150 and a SVS 20-39PC-Plus

A friend of mine has MK. Not sure which line, but I can check and post back. He's an electrician and installs HT's as a hobby/side business. A very knowledgeable fella to say the least. He came over and listened to my M80's and LF-1. Keep in mind that these are for stereo (music) only. Shot story, he's replacing his MK's with Axiom.
