My axioms are less than a week old. What is....if there is any, an upgrade policy? I want to get bigger fronts.

thnx

call the axiom 1-800#. i dont think there is an 'official' upgrade policy, but i am sure they will try and work with you.

never hurts to call and ask.

If they are less than a week old then you can return them and order new ones for just the return shipping cost (30 day money back gaurantee).

what do you have currently, and why don't you like them, or feel you have to upgrade already?

M50, Qs4, vp100

i had originally slated these for a medium sized around 15 X 20 room. But I just purchased a new house the other day and the new room is 20 X 22. I have a Denon 3805 receiver. Maybe I need seperate amps, but i dont feel as though the sound is "loud" in the room. i want to upgrade to the m60's, QS8 and the vp150. maybe i wont need to upgrade at all..but i was just curious as to the policy.

Your probably gonna want the M60s in that size room.

Or M80s.

I agree, M60's would work well in that size room; however, adding a seperate amp in addition wouldn't hurt either.

MiniRock
Do you sell seperate amps?

I was starting to wonder the same thing. MiniRock is all about seperate amps!

I'm just too cheap for that. If I had a dedicated room, and an extra grand or so I'd think about it, but with a wife who likes watching movies but thinks that I should spend my money on things like a new minivan, etc, it is hard for some of us.

Heh heh! No, I'm retired. Yeah, I'm all about seperate amps though. I drive my wife and daughters crazy with this stuff.

Retired?! If your icon is a picture of you then my sight is messed up. You look 20 in that picture!

That's impressive, I had to wait until I was 58.
Posted By: Ray3 Re: upgrade policy - 12/07/04 02:49 PM
58 this coming February 19th and I'm still waiting......

Well to be honest Ray I could have left earlier but I was enjoying work far too much. Then it was as if a switch was turned on in my head, "I said I must retire and and ask work for a retirement gift certificate from Axiom. I did and I did.
I must say I felt a little slighted that the powers that be here didn't kick in the odd $100 bill.

I'd recommend retirement for anyone, IF you can still stay busy.

I'm dealing with so many expenses in growing this company, I have yet to even start any planning (financial or otherwise) for retirement. I'm figuring that, having not started at this late point (42), I'm going to be working until the day I drop.

This wouldn't have been my goal if asked 20 years ago, but then again, I do love what I'm doing and I get to play with cool toys all day!

Man! Do we have a lot of old goats on this forum. I'm sure glad I'M not one of them! OY! (ow!)

I agree, stay busy. Otherwise, you may as well be dead.

It's like my grandpa used to say.... Oh, you already heard that one.
