hi guys i am ordering new set or Axiom and was thinking about putting denon now which one should do the Job well
The 2805 works fabulous with the M60's, although they are not 4ohm speakers. I can't speak to the M80's. I know that Denon's are one of the recommended brands for the M80 load, but I'm not sure what models have been proven to work.

If you want to save a little $ you may want to look at the 3803. Almost the same as the 3805. Older model that you can pick up at a good price.
the 3803 is available at ecost.com - they have refurb models or liquidation models.

I would go for a denon to handle the 4ohm load of the M80's. I have the Denon 1602 (low end model) and it powers M80, QS8 and VP150, 4, 6, and 6 ohm speakers.
If you are going into ecost, also keep your eyes open for the 1083 - it is (exactly) the 3803 that has been rebadged. Denon does the rebadging for boutique stores and professional installers. The manual is titled "3803/1083". I've got the 3803 and love it.
Hi i took the plunge last night and ordered M80 Q8 and VP150 now the sales guy at axiom told me that DENON 3805 would drive the M80 but not good at Refrence level so i am worried so need more info please

He must have a spare amp laying around that he wants to sell you. JK
I'd go ahead and try the Denon first before adding an external amp to your system.
buckcrazy,

The remark about the "reference level" by one our Axiom guys likely means that if you are in a really big room and you like deafening levels of playback with the M80ti, the Denon won't do it.

Be realistic. How big is the room (length, width, height). My colleague at Axiom, Jean, managed to shut down three huge monoblocks (250 watts per channel) driving M80s to levels that he obviously liked. I had to leave the room.

If your tastes lean towards loudness levels like that and you are in a big room--6,000 cu ft. and larger--then get a basic 2-channel power amp with at least 150 or 200 watts per channel to drive the M80s.

Regards,
Sorry to post all over but it did three things one it came out with the opinon of experts like Allan and second it came out with the experiences of owners that are already using the M80 with Denon and thirdly it eased out my nerves and i am a lot comfortable with my purchase now spending 4 Gs on anything can be unnerving and in audio there is so many different directions that one can take thanks to all
