Anyone used RCA wall plates? I don't know how to hook them up--I found some with 2 wire inserts, but I don't know what kind of wire to put between the things, or if this would significantly affect the sound. Either that, or I drill big holes through the wall and just run a single RCA cable between the primary receiver and the secondary.

Yes, I'm doing it this weekend. Really.

Just found some inserts at Home Despot that had punch downs for cat5 on the back. Perfect! Now if only they had had more than one package...

depends what you want to use them for. Audio or video? if it's two connectors, my assumption is audio, between processor and amp? If so, use a 2 conductor cable, of around 18 gauge, assuming the distance isn't too long.

If my assumption is wrong, let us know what your plans are, and maybe we can throw out some ideas.

Cheers!

Nope, you got it right, I just got impatient! I think I might be all set--just have to test the cable before I stick the wall plates on.
