I'm helping w/ a home install.

I've seen surge suppressors that fit into the normal wall receptacle, replacing a normal AC outlet. However, I can't recall who makes them.

Anyone?

I just had an electrician install a new outlet for the tv that will be going on the wall. I supplied the receptacle for him to use. I used a Leviton 5280. I think Panamax has some also that you might look into. Just need to get that tv on the wall now as it's not much fun staring at an outlet on the wall.

What about a "whole home surge protector"? Smarthome.com has all kinds, similar to the one I've linked to.

Cam, that's exactly what I've been looking for for 9 months. Thanks!

I didn't know that. Drop by your local home depot they carry them, at least they did not too long ago.
