OK i am trying to make work my EP350 this morning but look like my receiver dont want take it. I have an Integra DTR70.1, i use a monoprice cable ( http://www.monoprice.com/products/produc...=1&format=2 ) Connected to my SW1 input connection.
My receiver is set to sw 1channel on, eveything seem ok but i can't hear my subwoofer. Even when i use the level calibration when i am on subwoofer, there is a weird noise comming from the center channel only ( like wind )
I am confure.

Help ! ( Btw i have use all subwoofer connection from my receiver )

Hi Philippe,
Use the trouble shooting guide at Axiom EP350 Trouble shooting guide.

If you don't succeed at getting sound from it, please, dial Axiom's toll free number (1-866-244-8796) for assistance.

Looking at the back of the unit, there appears to be multiple "subwoofer" out connections SW1, SW2, as well as just subwoofer, maybe your using the wrong jack. But, it appears the SW1 is in the "preout" section, so that should be right.

The problem isn't from the subwoofer ( i bet ) Because i still got this weird sound comming from the center channel even if i have the subwoofer cable unplug. I actually can use 1 or 2 channel for my subwoofer and like i said from my level calibration the sound comming from the center channel.
Big HT receivers can get pretty complicated. But right now, i am completly confuse.

From the manual:

Quote:
Using a suitable cable, connect the AV receiver’s PRE
OUT: SW1, SW2 to an input on your powered subwoofer,
as shown. If your subwoofer is unpowered and
you’re using an external amplifier, connect the PRE
OUT: SW1, SW2 to an input on the amp.
You can connect the powered subwoofer with each jacks
respectively. Level and distance can be set individually
for each output. If you use one subwoofer, connect it to
PRE OUT: SW1.

So using SW1 is correct.

Quote:
1ch: Audio signal is outputted from SW1 jack only.
2ch: Audio signal is outputted from SW1 and SW2 jacks (default).
No: Select if no subwoofer is connected

Check the speaker level/sub settings and ensure it is set to 1ch or 2 ch and not NO, preferrably set to ch1 as you only have one sub

Receiver is properly set... anyway i'll do some test tomorow to locate what is the problem. I will unplug everything and run a 2channel on with subwoofer to check if i can get sound.

I have call Axiom this morning. A new amp for my subwoofer is on the way. Good service as usual. I hope it will fix the problem. I'll get back about it.

do you have another "older" sub you can try to rule out a problem with the receiver?

Unfortunatly not...

Do you have any amp with an RCA in, and a speaker about 6" or larger? You won't get any real output from it, but you'll at least be able to tell that there is a signal.

Philippe, you said that you used all the "subwoofer" connections, but to see if the sub amp works did you connect one of the main channel speaker wires to one of the speaker level input sets on the EP350?

JohnK, yes i did and still no sound, i was wth JC on phone and this is were we realised the problem were comming from the subwoofer amp. and not my the receiver.
Anyway i might receiver the amp earlier this week so i will have the anwser.
