Has anyone here replaced the wires inside there speakers? Will it make it sound better? Or it is not worth the trouble.

Thanks

It is not worth the trouble to replace the wire inside here speakers.

I was lucky enough to find a pair of damaged AX2's, and spent the time to upgrade most components - including new drivers as Axiom had a "Lifetime" warranty at one point.

They sounded great, but when I warranty replaced the drivers in my AX3's, I noticed good quality wiring (Soundking if memory serves).

I would think that it would not be of great benefit - unless you have the urge to experiment and learn!

JL, this is one of the ironies of the high-end speaker wire scam. It ignores the hundreds of feet of "cheap" wire involved in the production of their CDs and DVDs and the wire immediately inside the speakers(which of course horrifies some of the misguided who happen to look inside). Also, the speaker drivers themselves have well over 100 feet of wire with gauges in the 20s and 30s. So, no, you don't need different wire either inside or outside of the speakers.
