My HT area is part of a much larger room that includes a very large brick structure which actually contains two fireplaces. The ceiling is also like 13 feet up. There is some space up there where a sub would fit. Is placing the sub near the ceiling technically the same as placing it near the floor?

I don't want to invest in a 50' cable if its a stupid idea to start off with.

Thanks

Though I have never tried this there is no technical reason it will not work. As with any position of the sub in the room there are some spots that just don't work but the proximity to the ceiling is not a problem.

Along the same lines; when running multiple EP350s in a large room, is it possible, or sensible, to stack them?
