Has anyone ever experienced ferrofluid leaking from the tweeters.

Nope why?

It wouldn't ever leak. There is just simply not enough for it to ever really cause a problem.

It is not like there is a cavity in which a lot of ferrofluid is stored.

Saying that the tweeter is ferrofluid cooled just means that a few drops of it is placed in between the voice coil and magnet structure. If you have ever opened up a tweeter and seen some black liquidy gunk, that is the ferrofluid.

There is some oily fluid that has leaked out from the bottom port onto the floor.

Thats why I had covers made for mine.I don't want to see any liquids by my speakers

Hmm - Why don't you open the speaker and look inside. Taking out the tweeter isn't too hard - you just need a T25 bit.

maybe you need some preperation-h for your gorilla ports

Actually, it sounds like that has already been done. Now he needs some rubbing alcohol to remove it from the ports.

This, of course, begs the question as to why you would put Preparation H on your speakers to begin with. I thought everyone knew you applied it to your Monster banana plugs.
