Just wondering ... I have an ep175 that isn't turning on. The power light isn't coming on either. I looked at the fuse and i don't see anything wrong with it. Are the power lights suppose to be on when the sub isn't receiving a signal from my receiver? HELP
Thanks
If it's like my EP350 the light will shine red whenever in the 'standby' mode and shine green whenever it's getting a signal from the receiver. I'd check that fuse one more time and may even replace it for the heck of it. BigBizzle, is this a brand new sub that you just recieved?
Also, Forgive me because I know this may sound stupid but there is an on/off rocker switch on the back...is it in the proper position?
Nope, nope nope, the only stupid question is the one that's not asked.
know what ya meant
Sometimes the signal level of the subwoofer out is not enough to turn the sub on reliably, particularly if the level settings in the receiver have been adjusted so that the sub level is below 0dB. If that is the problem, it is easy to fix by raising the sub level in the receiver and turning the level down at the sub using the level control.
Does the sub "never" turn on, even if you are playing some bass heavy music fairly loud ?
when you say the fuse looked ok, was that just a visual inspection or did you check the resistance across it?
This can only be considered a "Frivolous Post"
I see I was the last one to post in each forum, and just thought I'd like to see my name on all last poster slots.
My appologies
Hey.....that looks cool
"I love you" might help it turn on.
Hey Wayne, since BigBizzle seems to have disappeared into oblivion I suppose we can hijack the thread...
Did you happen to see the U.S. Nationals during qualifying, whenever the clutch slipped on Tony Pedregon's car in the staging lane and the throttle hung? Wicked looking but thankfully nobody was hurt.
Funny Rick, actually that happens often I've noticed. People post a question, and you never see a follow up form them after all the great advice
Dang we give good advice.
Hmmmmm......good point
And all along here I thought it was just me......
I don't get to see the U.S. Nationals up here until this Thursday (I don't get ESPN) and I think it's only a two hour broadcast so no idea what they'll be showing.
I did see Pedregon's "incident" on another web site, looked bad but could have been a lot worse.
What did floor me was this.....
"NHRA officials announced today that the result of Monday`s Pro Stock Motorcycle final has been overturned, and the victory at the 51st annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals has been awarded to Steve Johnson."
Steve was clearly in front as shown by ESPN's cameras and this race was a BIG topic on a lot of drag racing boards. Nice to see NHRA reverse themselves.
