Description
The graph is the result of the Hz by Hz freq. resp. of my 2 subwoofers together, from 10 Hz to 40 Hz.
Readings done at the MLP. Equalization with Audyssey MultEQ.

The smaller sub is tuned to 16 Hz and the larger one is tuned to 10 Hz.
The PC13-Ultra's P-EQ was used to make the correction at 35 Hz.

It's like a speaker cockpit! Sweet. IMO the 2 subs would serve you better if one was on front and rear midwall. Loading the front corners sure gives that visual impact though.

Hellcommute,
i had never thought about a "speaker cockpit"; nice one.

there is no other place i could have put the subs, the room is only 9 x 9 x 16 ft.

When i'm in my seat, there's only about 5 ft. of free space behind me;
book/disc cases occupy most of that wall, plus the back surround speakers.

in fact, i think this size room is the minimum in order to have as few compromises as possible in setting up for good sound.

also, i think the subs' positions in the room corners are a very good place in my room, as you can have an idea if you check the Fr. graph up at the top of this page.
Frequency response is very good, as also phasing with the M80s.

thanks a lot for the suggestion.

yeah, i like bass, as long as it is well balanced with the other frequencies, from whatever source, like movies or organ.

some months back, i thought that my HT was complete and done, but did not much like using 2 of the Marantz amplifier channels for the back surrounds, mostly because of the heat.

so i bought another separate amp as a replacement for the Marantz amps.

now, the new amplifier is used for the Front speakers and
the other amps are used for the side and back surrounds.
the Marantz is used only as a decoder/preamp.

as i can't change the photo here for an up to date one, here's a link where you can see the setup:
