Pioneer's MCACC actually has a mode where it can just measure the left and right speaker, and then EQ the rest to try to sound like them. Or as John says it can make each speaker target an ideal response (individually or as pairs).

Mac, welcome. The basic 8 ohm rating of the 1522 is 130 watts. As always, the amount of power needed by a speaker depends on how loudly you play it. The M80 and VP180 are slightly above average in sensitivity and require a bit less power for a given

Sound advice. I will experiment with a few other blu rays and report back. My axiom m80's will be arriving in the next week or two and will be replacing my cerwin vega d8's. Hopefully I can iron this all out
