I have m60s in the same sized room - sound is fine - most of time I have just 6 inches off the back wall - in terms of appearance, they did dominate the room a bit when they arrived and my girlfriend was not entirely happy - however she has come to appreciate fine sound. I would love to get the chance to hear how a sub + m22s would be in my room cos it would prob look a little neater but not sure when if ever that will happen. For the moment happy with m60s.

My listening area is about the same. I started with 60's and upgraded to 80s. Just because I could. My son is watching Episode II right now and I am enjoying listening from another room. An EP500 or 600 is a must. I have 600 envy but really enjoy my 500.
