We got sent home today because of road conditions.It started snowing at 5:30 or so this morning.There were no salt trucks out and a mess of car wrecks this morning tying up traffic all around the area.As ussual the first snowfall of the year and people forget how to drive.

I can relate, we live south of Des Moines about 6 miles. I counted 15 people in the ditch on the county road. I've lived in Iowa all my life, so I find it funny when these people move from out west or down south and think they can still drive 70 on ice.
