I had fun with the Polish version of the Palone site, though the vocabulary was a bit foreign (having not really spoken it since I was 5 or so...). Sounds like a tasty beer! Where did you find it?

Well, Peter, funny you should ask. I have long been grateful for the Top Foods close to my house. It has a truly wonderful selection of beers from all over the world. Unfortunately, the specialist in charge of that department (Andrew House-Higgins; a wonderful fellow) has moved on, so I fear for my future prospects. Now comes along a new beer shop near my work - 99 Bottles. New Hope. It JUST opened, so time will tell, but certainly cause for optimism.

I am enjoying - completely - a golden Belgian ale brewed by a small place in Centralia, WA. It's always been a small place. I like that. Dick's Silk Lady is one of the most articulate and enjoyable beers I've ever had. It expresses its distinct flavor elements beautifully and harmoniously. A stunning brewing achievement, especially at 4% ABW. Mark, try the Okocim Mocne if you can't get the other one. Fine beers and - as you said - a good value. The examples I've had exhibit uncommon care in handling for European beers.

Hey, how did the beer thread manage a meagre 3 stars? That's just not nice.
