I'm finally getting around to mounting the QS8's, and they sure feel a whole lot heavier than the claimed 11 lbs per. I dont have a scale around, but they will be fine mounted in drywall using 30lb anchors no?

Thanks!

Sure, but I'd keep some pillows piled underneath them in case they fall. Just until they've fully broken in, though.

I mounted mine w/ 5 30lb anchors (just to give me that warm fuzzy feeling).

I was just going to use up the middle of the bracket, but quickly realized I needed to add one on each end of the horizontal piece to keep it flush to the wall.

no problems at all, dont worry. Get them mounted to the wall and start enjoying them!

I always feel more comfortable mounting QS8's on studs.

Yea, I ended up going to the extra trouble to locate and use the studs. In the end, I'm sure it was worth the extra 30 min

They are up and sound great! Now all I have to do is find a good way to hide the wires...
