Not that I'm anywhere near able to plunk down almost $4K for an amp anytime soon, but I'm curious if people who own them will be demoing them? I don't see anyone on the demo list as yet. How are they selling, I wonder? And will we be seeing big name reviews in major pubs? I hope so!

When I auditioned an epic 80/600 5.1 set up the person who gave me the audition had the axiom amp.
It sounded great. I never did any a/b comparisons so I can not comment much... But he was able to turn his m80's WAY LOUDER than I can with my 3808 without any hint of distortion.

I waited about 3-4 months for mine. It is a spectacular amp that is well worth the wait and the asking price. I too realized immediately that the M80s have much more capability in them than my Yamaha integrated amp (110W/ch) was able to bring out. Your point about who would be auditioning this amp is an interesting one. I know of only five other forum members who bought this amp. Majority of the buyers are likely not members of this forum. I live in CT and can audition on Feb 30th if anyone would like to come over. If that date will not work for you, just send a pm and we'll arrange something. John

It's a double leap year, happens once every other decade and a three quarters. Haylo75 in Kansas city is the forum member who auditioned his axioms and A-1400 to me. I am sure he would do the same for others if he has time.

terzaghi - thanks for the props! It's been awhile since I've been online here... work and other things are keeping me too busy.
I am available anytime for an A1400-8 audition and live in the Kansas City area. I know that's too far for some, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.
I had one channel on my last A1400-8 keep turning on and off due to suspected thermal issues. As always, Axiom with their great customer service sent me a replacement amp, allowing me to keep my existing amp running on the remaining channels while I waited for receipt of the replacement. Things have been going well with the latest amp, which I've had in place for about a week now.

haylo, glad to see you are still around!
Did you get some type of check from axiom since I mentioned you when I made my purchase?
