I'm looking at this tv to buy sometime, just wanted to see if anyone has tried it out or has there 2 cents to put in, or to suggest another model to look at. So far, from what I can tell it looks pretty impressive. I'm looking at the 46" model for around 2300.

My father just bought the 50pz80u and that thing is a beauty. I think you can't go wrong with that decision, Panny makes a great Plasma.

Yep - Panny (and Pioneer for more $$) are at the top of the plasma heap.

BTW - take a look at Newegg (GREAT customer service $ reliability). If you are looking at the TH46PZ80U, they have it for $1699 w/free delivery. They have the 50" for $2099 (free delivery)I bought both of my Panny plasmas from them.

I've heard great reviews on this model.

Also take a listen to the htguys.com podcast. They reviewed this, IIRC, in the last week or so.
