I know I'm a little late to the Negative Orange party, but I couldn't help thinking about this term my friend, who is a young doctor, told me about.

The Positive Throckmorton sign is a euphemism for when an X-ray patient's penis points to the situs of the photographed injury and is visible on the X-ray. I really got a kick out of this inside joke that apparently is often shared with the unwitting patient in the room.

Anyway, now you know.

My penis is happy to know it has more than two uses now!
