Received my blu-ray copy today via UPS but the girls wanted to watch "Pushing Daisies" (my daughter was totally ecstatic that I'd programmed the dvr to catch the season premiere), drat, and double drat, I'm definitely not a fan of that show (my wife says it's in fairy tale narrative format or something, the style does not work for me, listening to that guy drone on in that droll monologue), will have to wait until the weekend.

I saw Iron Man in the theater and thought it had amazing sound even there. I'm really looking forward to testing it out at home soon.

I hadn't seen it before. I actually liked it quite a bit.

Yeah, it was a cute little movie.

Iron Man. It made my windows rattle.

We just got done watching Star Wars the Clone Wars on the Cartoon Network in HD, I was amazed at how well it was done, in fact it was identical to what me and the kids paid to see at the theatre.

I would bet if they had this on a major network during prime time it would have done really well, my kids loved it and I don't think it will be getting deleted of our DVR for a long time. If you or your kids are star Wars fans, it's well worth the time watching.

I was bach'ing it tonight, so I put in Mel Brooks' History of the World Part I.

We watched POTC: Dead Man's Chest in HD.
The part where Sparrow 'paprika-ed' himself was quite humorous. Very neat sword play scenes on the rolling wheel.
Not fond of the cutting throat parts though. I think they could have left that out.

A bunch of buddies are getting togethor to watch Saturday night fights. Hopefully Shamrock will make Kimbo tap out.
