Ken, i have an older (by todays standards) Sony BDP S350 and i replaced it with an oppo and i can not see the difference between the 2 or them on a 60inch plasma . The oppo does play sacd's and it upscales dvd to near BD quallity. i bought a BD player for my parents on sale at bestbuy for around 75 and they love it. So you could probly afford both,but then you would have to buy more blurays ,which means no fence. lol

Oh, I'm totally going to get the $90 Sony that other people have liked on the boards. I just limit my spending on personal toys to a large extent, so my budget is small.
