Raise the Red Lantern

It's a well-done movie, but like most movies with endings that don't seem to fully resolve, I have trouble knowing what to take away from it. Gong Li has a cool face, so I'll take that away from it.

In a dark maniacal way.

Made me curious if it always answers that way so I did it with different selections and got a different result.

Toy Story with my nieces. Digitally remasterd audio and video. Great picture. Wish I had mt speakers. (Well, it's 6:15AM on Sunday and I rushed to the door when I awoke and still no speakers)

I guess I'll have to watch this when it comes out. It's about Bruce Lee's sifu, starring Donnie Yen.

I watched The Host, one of the movies that CV graciously mailed to me. It's a Korean-made film about a mutant water creature. The blu-ray case has all kinds of glowing comments about how great a monster movie it is, like Jaws.

I fell asleep after 30 or 40 minutes. My wife kind of watched it in between surfing the web on her MacBook.

CV, I can't imagine you didn't want to keep that cinematic treasure...

I actually did like parts of it, but yeah, it seemed like it should belong to you.

I think we should pass it around the Axiom boards like a Hot Potato. If anyone wants it next (who wouldn't after our glowing reviews?!), then send me a PM. If not, maybe I'll just have to send it to one of you guys. I think I have about 7 or 8 mailing addresses from when I sent out those mix CDs.

Maybe you should send it to my neighbour, he has bad insomnia and if you say it put you to sleep....
