Cam, if you are sitting low (i.e., couch level) you can use a coffe table to hold the TV. I am using one for my RPTV and the hight puts the sweet spot right where i need it. Plasma has a much wider viewing angle so you have more options, but as far as costs go, a used or cheap coffee table might be less than other options and more practicle. Mine has a lower shelf that fits my AVR, Center, and Cable box. (Mine was free as the neighbors needed to store it!)

Thanks for the suggestions and info, I'm going to get the TV today (well order it), yep, I'm buying it without even looking at it but I have no other option. Monster cables LOL, I've never been one to mince my words so if the salesperson tries to get me to buy any of their overpriced junk, I'll let him know with the real deal this.
