I finished up Solty Rei. Yeah, I'd say the whole thing was just okay. Parts of it were decent, but overall it should have been better.

Rozen Maiden. Weird show, but I kind of like the way it's done. We'll see if that wears off as the story develops.

Well as before keep us posted if you can. I also have that one sitting unwatched.

I just watched the first episode of Leverage. Thanks, Peter, for the recommendation. It looks like it will be a fun show.

I'm into the second (current) season now, using Netflix Streaming. I'm loathing the day when I catch up to air time (any day now) and I'll have to wait for new episodes instead of watching whenever I feel like it.

Really, really like this show.

I'll have a look at that. I was actually looking for something new to follow.

Just watched Najica Blitz Tactics.

Anime News Nework Review

T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews

First off “Najica” is to panty shots what “Misaki Chronicles” is to massive mammaries in motion. No opportunity to show a panty is missed. So much so that after a couple episodes you just stop noticing…mostly.

Once past that Najica is actually an excellent Anime. It’s only 12 episodes on 3 disks and flies by quickly, easy to watch in one afternoon. I found only one episode dragged a little bit. Each episode except the last 2 stand alone but most also reveal something about the show’s overall story. The animation, music, English voice acting and story are all excellent. The Audio is 5.1 but most of the action is coming from the front 3 speakers except for the occasional gunshot.

While not quite the classic caliber of “Cowboy Bebop” this is a solid series and well worth the watch if you like action with a little comedy.

I'm pretty sure my friend has mentioned Najica. I'll have to check it out... eventually.

Ok I’ve only watched the first 2 of 4 disks 8 episodes of Serial Experiments Lain but I just have to comment on it.

Fantastic!

It’s like a cyberpunk episode of the original “Twilight Zone” on acid. The reviews can tell it better than I can:

Anime News Network

T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews

The Anime Critic

I had only intended to watch one disk tonight but got so engrossed I had to watch the second. It’s not very exciting nor would I say really suspenseful but it draws you in just the same. Only half way through I already know this is one I’ll be watching again.

I'll have to check that series out.

I just watched the first episode of NCIS. I was skeptical, but I ended up finding it pretty entertaining.
