Replacing HT InWall Speakers and need some advice

Wow, I am so glad I found this place. I was searching and searching and finally found a reference to Axiom speakers over at AVSForum so here I am. Anyway, I am hoping someone can give me some advice on replacing my existing HT speakers.
My existing HT speakers are builder grade junk (www.shopihs.com) and I am pushing them with an Onkyo TX-SR606 (90w/ch at 8ohms) and my "media room" is 11'x16'. I was looking at the W22 for the L/R, the W150 for center, QS8 for surround and the EP350 for the sub. So my question is this setup overkill for my tiny media room? Are the W3's, W100, QS4 and EP175 more inline with the size of my room? Keep in mind that I don't tend to listen to movies overly loud. I like good crisp detail over raw power.

Oh, get the EP350 over the EP175, at the very least. The EP350 is a fantastic sub. You'll find that most of us here don't believe in big speakers overpowering a small room; it's all about how loud you drive them. With the W22s, you don't even have the concern of the possibility of being too close to the speakers as one might with the tower models, although too close would be about 2 feet away...

The W3's(M3) sound slightly more recessed than the W22's(M22), so either one would work well in your room, as Ken said a speaker won't overpower a room just because it is big, just the person turning the volume up to '11' causes a room to be overpowered.

just the person turning the volume up to '11' causes a room to be overpowered. I was 11 when I overpowered your mom. Sorry, I don't know where that comes from.

Lee, welcome. There are a lot of much bigger speakers than those you're considering being used in rooms of similar size as yours. You, not the speakers, are in control of the volume. The W22s in particular should be excellent for your use.

Welcome Lee, Can't really add anything to what the others have said. Oh, say hello to Ted for me.

If this helps at all I have a 19' x 12' room with 8' ceilings and I use a W22/W150/QS8 x 2 setup. My sub is more the size of an EP500 but the EP350 was a close second.
