I don't think we really know, and its not the kind of thing you expect Axiom to talk about too much. Look at some of the crap that went on at other forums around the 'sound' of Axiom speakers.
On some forums stuff like this would be troll food.

SRoode, did you notice any other part changes besides the capacitors (different manufacturer?) in the new amp you have?

There were some differences, but I did not really take the time to check them out in detail. I have pictures of the new amp on page 23 of this thread.

Charles, since Mr. Welker's degree is in electrical engineering, it's not surprising to hear of his expertise in the area of amplification. Actually amplifier design is an area of greater academic emphasis than is speaker design and although he was previously with a company known primarily for speakers, I'd think that both his education and experience qualify him in the realm of amplifier design.

Yeah. Getting a B.Sc/BEng in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo is not easy. It is an excellent school.

Waterloo is one of the toughest schools to get accepted to . The engineering department is also renowned as one of the best in Canada. McMaster University also has a great engineering department as well as a few others.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between a B.c./BEng (I assume in Canada) and a BSEE in the USA?
