Finished ME2. I want to change to the Sentinel class and keep my stats and play on INSANITY but can't seem to be able to do it like in the original. It looks like I will have to start my character from scratch...this sucks. Maybe I am overlooking something.

Do you have to stick to the same class to get the bonuses?

Heavy Rain on the PS3 looks pretty sweet! It comes out in a week or so.

Final Fantasy XIII comes out next month too so that will be sweet...

Just in time for Valentines Day I got to “the scene” with Jack, now gotta go see if I can patch things up with Miranda for later.


How did you finish so fast. I’ve spent the better part of the day playing just trying to get through the loyalty quests and associated mining and pop-up quests.

I've finally been to every planet and done every task I can. I couldn't afford every single upgrade at every shop, though. I just went through the Omega 4 Relay. Oh, and I also just got to the special scene, only with Tali, if that's kinky enough for you. I never did get Miranda or Zaeed's loyalty, even though I did the missions. I guess I didn't side with them hard enough.

If you die during the loyalty mission and hit resume you can still complete it but you don’t get the NPCs loyalty. I made sure to save at every opportunity so I could reload from a manual rather than auto-save keeping the chance to gain their loyalty. Miranda got a bit pissed at me for siding with Jack during their argument so I’ll have to work on here for a chance later after entering the Omega 4 Relay.

That's what happened to me with Miranda, too. I was trying to be neutral, but I guess that means I sided with Jack. And yeah, Miranda just doesn't want to talk to me after that.

I just finished Mass Effect 2, and I finished it with my computer hooked up to my main system. It was nice to finish the game with the more impressive sound.

Nice bonuses on a fresh start when you import your character from your first run-through. I'm not sure I'll actually play through it again, but it's still cool.

I really need to figure out a good way to keep my computer hooked up to my main system. I'm using my normal monitor as a secondary display so I can do other stuff easier, but it sure is nice to be able to game on the big screen.

You mean to tell me you’ve been missing out on the big picture and full sound all this time? What’s stopping you from keeping it hooked up normally?

I’m playing again today and still can’t figure out how you guys are finishing it so fast.

My time logged in on my first playthrough was 50+ hours. I did everything possible based on the choices I made. I took me well over a week of solid playing, I would not consider that fast.
