Did I mention I have wine, beer, and access to a fine selection of more?

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete

I never played Final Fantasy VII, and it probably would have meant more to me if I had. Still, it's amazingly beautiful. Even if the people still don't look and move quite right, I have to say wow on the overall quality of the visuals. It really makes me wish they'd animate something with a little more substance to go with the flash. I know Square Pictures wanted to do a version of Seven Samurai, but that was before the disaster that was Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. I wonder if Square will ever try a proper film again, or whether this epic nod to fans is all we can hope for.

I finally got around to watching The Fall. I liked it all right. It's a pretty movie, though I found it hard to get too into the story.

Bedtime Stories

I liked it more than I thought I would. It had plenty of parts that could have used more thought and polish, but I still enjoyed it.

Defiance. I wanted to see Daniel Craig in a non Bond movie and it sounded like a decent plot.

Turned out to be excellent. Craig's manerisms are much like when he played bond, but he still does an exellent job and the movie is very well written.

Good Night, and Good Luck

I liked it. It made me wish I had balls and could articulate my thoughts. Well, not only articulate my thoughts, but have thoughts in the first place.
