Stuff happens. I personally can think of more than one situation that I mishandled.

Funny I don't remember seeing that picture Rick posted of the damaged tweeter. As it is tucked up inside the housing, it is pretty hard to damage that area without actually trying to do so, I would certainly have thought it to be damaged from the factory or via shipping, not that shipping damage ever happens . A puncture through the box would go relatively unnoticed if the outer diffuser/case area wasn't damaged.

As suprised as I was by the story Rick told, Peter's response comes as absolutely NO surprise. I suspect that somehow something slipped through the cracks resulting in misunderstanding. As noted, stuff happens. The measure of the company is how it handles the "stuff."
