Do horns, or electrostatics, or whatever, have a wider dispersion than what Axiom is currently using? Perhaps a curved center in a WTWTW design, where the center is thicker than the ends. I don't know that they've tried curved systems, but off-axis response is a big deal for them. _________________________ DON'T... call me stupid!

BobTheAlterBoy connoisseur Registered: 03/23/10 Posts: 2758 Loc: Brockton Heights, MA	Isn't this the sort of issue that B & W purports to have addressed, somewhat, with their models that have the tweeter loaded in a pivoting, ceramic, gourd-like housing atop the cabinet. A friend complains that visitors think they're karaoke machines and they try to remove the "microphones" resting atop the cabinets. _________________________ Russian shitheads! Now I can't carry my Dutch oven around in my backpack anymore!

This makes sense as the Power Bracket is small and probably wouldn't hold the horizontally oriented speaker securely. With just one explosion played through one of their subs and the center would most likely come down.
