I read rumors that The Dawn Treader may be the last one of the Narnia Chronicles to be made because of a general lack of interest. Disney made the first 2, then 20th Century Fox made the 3rd. I can only hope that this is a rumor.
Here's an article that says "The Magician's Nephew" will be the next Narnia movie made by 20th Century Fox.

I saw Watchmen in theaters (and own the Absolute Edition graphic novel), I bought the BD when it was first released, and then rented the Black Freighter disc. I own the ultimate cut that has the Black Freighter content integrated into the movie, but have yet to watch it. I do really like Watchmen. I even have a black shirt that has the phrase "quis custodiet ipsos custodes" written in bright yellow down one side.
Anyway, I watched Aliens tonight, from the BD Anthology (which is a tetralogy, because -logy is from the Greek, where as quad- is Latin). I'm going to watch Alien³ tomorrow, but just for the David Fincher commentary.

The transfer is wonderful. Tons of detail. The audio is a little light in areas, but the bass is pretty well mixed (I find a lot of modern movies over do the bass) and realistic (except for some of the big guns--they're too light).
I find Zack Snyder succeeds about 50% of the time.

I backed out of Alien³, and watched a Netflix rental of Date Night. I'm wishing now that I had watched Alien³.

Yeah, I thought that Date Night sucked. As in, sucked the funny out of both Steve Carell and Tina Fey, each of whom I really like in just about everything else they've done.
