My wife wants me to stop buying beer and wine until we can put a dent in the liquor cabinet. It's completely full. Since I love beer and wine, I'm going to have to start drinking cocktails a lot more now so that I can drink wine a beer without pressure later.
My first plan of attack is to take out the 1/4-or-less-full bottles. There's a nice rum (Sea Wynde), for example, that I could probably kill in a couple gulps or so...

Well, Peter, if you need a hand with that, I'll come help out for free. Heck, you pick up the travel and lodging expense, and I'll even change a diaper or two.
Next thing, she's going to want you to start actually USING some of those tools in the garage before you buy more. Slippery slope, my friend.

If by garage, you mean top shelf of the linen closet in my bathroom, then your comment might be accurate.
She knows I'm a handy guy and has no problem with me buying tools when I need them. Just last week she told me the best thing I ever did for her (half-jokingly, I hope!) was replacing the faucet in the bathroom. For that job, I needed to buy a basin wrench.
So the secret to having all the tools I want is first devising projects that need them.

Ya know, I've only taken sips of that stuff. It's just too good to waste. But if you need to kill the bottle, let me know and I'll come crash on your couch. Ha hah hah ha...

I'm off to New Hampshire on Saturday for some skiing of my own. Taking the family for our 15th annual Ski Week and family reunion. I can't wait!

You can't give up on snowboarding. The first few days will be painful, but after 3 or 4 days of going out there and trying you will pick it up pretty quick! I was in Aspen 2 weeks ago for a while, and it was sick! They got 4 feet the day before I got there, so the snow was awesome, and the weather was untouchable, 35 degrees and BlueBird each day. Can't ask for more than that, except for the fresh cut pipe, new rails, and monster tables they had.
I love Roddicks game by the way. He has in my opinion one of the sickest serves ever. it might not be the prettiest game out there, but it is consistent and he knowcks the ever living crap out of the ball. I played him in juniors the year before he won the Orange Bowl, and I was in awe of how hard he hit every single ball. He has incredible amounts of talent, but he also has an incredible work ethic, which makes him that much better in my opinion. and he is super cool and very down to earth.
