I was watching my son rip through Lost Planet 2, looks to be a good shoot em up game, he seems to be really enjoying it.

I played lost planet 1 when it first came out and really enjoyed it. I wasn't aware that lost planet 2 was already out... might have to give it a rent.

I saw the black Wiis at Costco today and was tempted. Then I remembered I don't have the money at the moment. I'm feeling in the mood to play Super Mario Galaxy 2, though.

Ask Costco if they will lend you one?

Red Dead Redemption.

So far I really like it. It has set itself up with an interesting story. The main character is badass. The game definitely has that Rockstar feel to it and the western theme and environments I find very refreshing which is a good change of pace for me.

I think the last western-themed game I played was Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, and I didn't play too much of it, even though it was fun. Besides that, there aren't many western games I remember playing. Oregon Trail, obviously. Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist. I'm sure there must have been more, but nothing's springing to mind. So yeah, I think I'm ready for Red Dead Redemption.

I think you will be ready for Red Dead Redemption as well ;\) . I played the game to the early part of the morning and it was a joy. One of the most original games I have played for the 360/PS3. While there are gameplay elements that we are all quite familiar with like the shooting and cover system this game offers a unique experience and it has a different feel to it than any other game I have played. Roaming around on the horse sort of reminds me of Oblivion but the environments are so different with the western look.

There have been a lot of tasks with riding a horse. One of my favorite moments so far was riding around in town on my stallion and I lassoed a pedestrian walking about and starting dragging him. It didn't last long however because I commited a crime and it was game over. It was still very satisfying! I am really looking forward to what this game has in store.

fEAR Combat mostly and ocasionally I play Q3 arena Ufreeze mod with grapple. Not many if any public ufreeze servers using grapple so I run a server and client on same machine and play any of the 700+ maps I have. I watched the sun rise too many times to count playing Q3 and still would go into work.
