I watched that last week and really enjoyed it, Imo a movie worth seeing, much different than a lot of the crap that's out now.

Yu Yu Hakusho

It's fairly entertaining and somewhat cute so far. My sister liked the manga, so I figured I'd try the anime out.

Watching "The Wire".

A damn good show if I do say so myself. It's just incredible.

I agree. The Wire ranks right up there with my favorite shows. I need to re-watch it all sometime.

I'm going to watch the first two parts of Pillars of the Earth with my wife tonight. We both really enjoyed the book and the miniseries has gotten rave reviews. With a screenplay by Ridley Scott, I can understand why. smile

Tekkonkinkreet (Blu-ray)

I was impressed. At first, I didn't like the way the people looked, but it kind of grew on me. The animation is gorgeous, and there are some pretty freaky visuals toward the end. The story has some surprisingly moving bits and pieces. Like a lot of anime movies, the audio is exemplary. I'll have to watch it again.

I watched Terminator Salvation for the first time last night. Lots of deep noise and explosions in that one. I was tired and don't remember how it ended, so I guess I'll have to watch it again tonight.
