I got to see Emily Wells last night. She's one of my go-to artists that I can seemingly never tire of. She's incredible live, fun to see her layer different tracks together on the spot. I got to say hey to her after the show and get my picture with her, so I'll post it after I get home, even though I don't think it flattered either of us. She was so sweet, and I gushed, informing her that I'd bought so many copies of her albums for friends. Sam, the coworker who took me, said that he was one of the ones I gave a CD to, and that was why he was there. She was appropriately complimented and creeped out simultaneously.
I'm using my Kindle Fire to type this up, and I have to say I really miss my desktop computer and keyboard.
