pmbuko and I are planning to see Jenny Lewis in D.C. tomorrow. We'll meet up at RFD, the brew pub where I met him, Ken, and Tom in October, 2006. Photographic evidence of this meeting was posted recently in the "show your face" thread.

Gents, we'll toast in honor of those who are unable to join us. Or, we may say a lot of "Neener"s in your general direction. Depends on the moment, I think, and the kind of work day that I have tomorrow.

Oh, and CV, I got the new Jenny Lewis CD, "Acid Tongue", and I like it a lot. It's definitely more accessible than her first album. A nice variety of tunes and styles, with country, gospel (choir-like vocals), and Motown influences. Wouldn't be surprised if Quentin Tarantino uses some tunes in a movie one day. I have only listened to it once, but I expect it to grow even more on me. It's not that often that I like a CD this much on the first listen.
