The International

Not the greatest movie, but I can see why the shootout at the Guggenheim got mentions. I didn't realize it was a Tom Tykwer movie until seeing his name in the credits.

I watched "Heart: Night at Sky Church" earlier today. It was a very good, relatively recent performance. Sky Church is a small but cool venue within the Experience Music Project (EMP) in Seattle; it holds a few hundred people standing. Amazing guest appearance by Allison Krauss. Replay on Palladia next Friday. Ann and Nancy Wilson seem very comfortable but still passionate and excellent at this point in their careers.

I might have seen that a few months ago, but I don't recall seeing Alison Krauss. The girls have still got it, no doubt.

Just finished watching "despicable me", awesome picture quality and great audio as well. My son loves the minnors and laughing all along the movie especially during the short film on them.

Also, found " the evil bank" formally known as Lehman Brothers funny and that Gru-ray ... Haha

I enjoyed it a lot. I still need to watch some of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's other films.

After you watch the rest of his films finish up with Alien: Resurrection, and puzzle to yourself why he was given that movie to direct.

I figured you had. But it's even better* when you're familiar with the rest of his work.

*Even more puzzling, but also funnier.

smile I'll give it another go after I've watched his other stuff. I do plan on getting the Alien Anthology Blu-ray set when it drops to a lower price.
