Well, my tactic, since the frontal assault failure, has been to get sick and avoid the game entirely.

I have been pondering how best to get out of that room without the whole hoard following me: maybe sacrifice Alistair with a charge and then switch characters to see if I can draw some of the enemy out.

I'd stack up in the doorway, toss in a grenade, and then storm in.

Indeed. grin The NHL games have been great in the last 3-4 years. Haven't played 11 but I bet it is awesome.

That actually works well in Dragon Age....instead of a grenade, it's called Blizzard!

Two quick handheld games I like.

Can Knockdown - Android and iPad. Classic game of fling the ball at the cans, arcade style. Enough variation to be interesting. Great crowd reaction to your results. Automatically restarts after your game is over, so practically impossible to stop.

X Construction - Android only, I believe. Like the "build a bridge out of popsicle sticks" experiment. Interesting and challenging.

Yeh, but first you have to run out of the room. Still havn't had the energy to revisit this fight.

I finally was able to find a PS Move controller (I've had an Eye for years, so I didn't want to re-buy it with a starter kit). So I picked up Echochrome ii, and Auditorium HD from the PSN Store. Been playing them. I like Echochrome ii, it's nice and relaxing. Auditorium HD is harder than I remember from the Flash game I played online.

I also ordered Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, plus I've had Hard Rain for a while. I stoppled playing Hard Rain when they announced that Move support was coming, figuring it would be more fun that way. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Don't own a PS move but I really enjoyed Hard Rain. I also liked echochrome but didn't know a second one was out.

The second echochrome is all about light and shadow, with the Move controller being a flashlight. There are separate blocks, but if you shine light over them the right way, they'll form a continuous shadow on the wall behind. Then the little guy can walk along the shadow.

I found the controls on the first one fidgety. On the second the flashlight movements just feel natural.

I got Mass Effect 2 for the PS3 today. I started playing at 5:30 PM, and didn't stop until 2:30 AM. I finally remembered to eat at about midnight because I was feeling faint.
