Gears 3 and elder scrolls V will each get my money at launch.
Went to rent homefront but the video store was sold out. As a bonus, I found a Socom4 beta code in their Killzone 3 case and the guy at the register said I could have it. Beta starts march 29th so that should be fun.
I've got a free rental coupon so if they don't get homefront back in for rent within the next few days I'll probably just rent killzone 3 instead.

Thanks Cam,
I checked it out last night. Definately II, not an expansion. I also owned DA - Awakenings but finished it long ago.
So I remain confused. Perhaps she is having an affair with someone at Bioware? So the question is now. Do I call a lawyer or just demand an early copy of Mass Effect III?

I'm with House, Sharon is definitely having an affair.
On the question of a lawyer or video game-if I were you, I'd continue riding the wave and getting early releases of video games.
Plus, maybe some smooth talking, womanizing, handicapped guy (disclaimer-I know nothing about charming married women) has swept her off her feet. You wouldn't want to ruin that for him now would you, my walkie friend?

As long as I get to watch.... and there is no foot rest carnage. That sounded rather unpleasant.

I've been playing Killzone 3 for the past couple of days. Pretty good campaign but I don't care for the multiplayer.

Finished Dragon Age: Origins at about 9 AM today. Started on Awakenings right away, but only played 90 minutes...because I had been awake for 26 hours.
Got to get back to it!
Oh, and I had about 91.5 hours on the game clock when I finished.

I'm impressed by the length of Dragon Age. My son finishes most games in a matter of days when he really gets into them. He basically spend reading week with Dragon Age and is still working throught it. Not sure what his clock is at.

Hey guys - I need some remediation.
I recently bought an Xbox (w/Kinect) for my son. He seems happy.
But I'm having some trouble with the cabling. I'm out of HDMI ports on my receiver.
Does the XBox offer true multichannel surround through the optical and/or the HDMI?
Does the HDMI offer better video than component video?
It looks like I have to buy an HDMI switcher and probably also reprogram my remote (insert agonizing noise here).
Right now, I have everything running through the receiver. I was thinking that I could run the XBox to the TV via HDMI and then run the optical out to the receiver. Obviously, I'd have to switch both the receiver and TV inputs, but I think I can make that work.
Comments, please.
