Welcome to the forum, Brian! I used to work in Mira Loma up until about 2 1/2 years ago. I had no idea the name changed to Eastvale! I grew up in Upland and most recently lived in Rancho Cucamonga. Unfortunately, I moved out to Arizona and can't help you with an audition. If I remember correctly, bigwill2 is in Corona, but he hasn't logged on in over a year. You might send him a PM and see if he responds? Not sure what gear he is running now, though.

Brian, welcome. Your first step should be to check the California listings at the beginning of the audition thread at the top. The usual procedure would be to try to directly contact a likely candidate by PM. Unfortunately, the list isn't entirely up to date, and some of those listed no longer participate.

Well Mira Loma is still here. Everything west of the 15fwy from limonite over is Eastvale now if you are familiar with that area. We incorporated Oct 1, 2010. The other side is turning to Jurupa Valley they just incorporated too.
I will check the board to see if I can track anyone else down.
Do you have some Axiom speakers yourself. If so what do you think about them?

Do you have some Axiom speakers yourself. If so what do you think about them? I know exactly where that is. My work used to be up where the 15 and the 60 came together. Yes, I own the M3 bookshelf speakers and the QS8 surrounds. You'll be hard pressed to find a better surround speaker than the QS8--they excel at creating an enveloping rear sound field and are quite forgiving with placement. The M3 speakers are a bit warmer in tone than the rest of the Axiom line up, meaning the top end is not as forward. I find them a good all around speaker, even playing bad recordings fairly well. They have a slight mid-bass hump that makes them seem to have more bass. Other than that, I've spent some time listening to the M80 speakers. Dean, another forum member, lives close by and we've had plenty of good listening sessions. The M80s are very capable speakers--pretty much covering the whole spectrum. They have tons of impact and also handle detail well. With the size of the speakers and the amount of drivers, they do require a bit more attention in setting up. They are incredible speakers, though.

Thanks. I felt I was being ignored more than usual when I had Osama Bin Laden for my Avitar. Meh. If people are going to take umbrage to something like that, leave 'em in the dust. I thought it was a slight at me, and I thought it was hilarious.

it looks exactly the same as my pc's insides; the difference is most probably that mine has a handle on the side that one has to turn all the time in order for the pc to work; i guess i have to work harder than the pc...

pffft. Get yourself a hamster and a wheel and some cheesefuel. Get with the times man.
Wives and chocolate also work, but you spend a lot more on a larger wheel.

great idea about the hamster; you should see the size of my left arm, after turning the handle for so long.
got no wife, and i doubt that pushing chocolate in the pc would work well, inasmuch as semi-bitter chocolate is not very energy rich.

another thing, turning this handle (as i said in the above post)does not bother me much as i have the skills of Penelope Garcia (Criminal Minds): i can type with one hand (160 wpm) and at the same time read series of zeroes and ones on two monitors and translate them instantly and talk to 2 people on the phone.
sad to say, no one has ever recognized my stupendous talents and i'm still poor... :-(
