That might make an interesting concept for an Amazing Stories episode. A lizard creature who prefers his meat cooked.

I posted this on Facebook already, but here's last night's dream since this thread is basically my dream journal and it's nice to have it collected in one place I had a very weird dream where I was visiting a tropical island with an elaborate Mayan-style city. At times, if someone let direct sunlight touch them, then a huge, muscular, lizard-skinned monster would come out to feed on the inhabitants. It was only sometimes that this response to direct sunlight would occur, though, so I kept having to ask if it was okay to walk around in the daytime. I don't know why I was asking, however, since they seemed to flub quite a bit on their own, and I had to witness several feedings that the natives themselves triggered. It really wasn't the greatest tropical vacation. Wow! if i was you, i would go see a shrink very fast! thinking about it, you better not know the meaning... :-P

That's awesome, Charles! I know the word awesome is frequently overused, but I think in this case it's entirely appropriate.
Thanks so much for sharing....don't forget your Facebook fans!

Well, last night I was dreaming about crapping my pants... What happened after you went to sleep? P.S. I don't have those kinds of dreams anymore. They've become back stories to my flying-naked dreams.

Last night I dreamed I was in an airport waiting for my next flight, only it wasn't a normal airport, since it had a full-size Barnes & Noble-type bookstore in it. I was lounging around on a sofa with friends, but then my friends wandered off, and I couldn't find them. I finally thought to use my phone, but my phone had defaulted to some state that I couldn't figure out. There was some kind of overscan happening, so I couldn't see everything I was supposed to. I couldn't seem to get into my contacts, so I couldn't call or message anyone. I kept talking to strangers about it, and some tried helping, but I wasn't having any luck.
Then my arms were on fire. Not real fire, just the sensation, and I told the nearest passerby to please help me, that something was happening to me. I woke to find one arm completely numb from sleeping on it.
I'm generally stressing too much lately. Work's not going great, but most of that is my fault. Sleep hasn't come easy, and then it's hard to get back to sleep after waking up prematurely. If this persists, hopefully it at least leads to some more interesting dreams.
