I love it. Good characters and acting and it looks and sounds beautiful.

Bryan, how was SW in 3D? I just can't justify the cost to see it yet again for more money than when it was first released, maybe if it was half price.

How I Met Your Mother
I have to admit I've been enjoying it a lot more than I did when I first tried it as a new show. I'm over my ambivalence toward Ted, and it's not as hard seeing Jason Segel in a straight-up sitcom versus what he did in Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. I still like his characters way more in those shows, but I can get behind what he's doing here. I've always enjoyed the humor on this show although I recently gave it up as I just couldn't get into this season. However, I did always get a bit annoyed with the overly repetitive pattern of it being very funny for the first 25 minutes then gets super mushy, every time, for the last five. The mush is indeed "it's thing" and absolutely necessary to give it an ongoing plot but could they not just mix up the formula a bit?

I watched the original TRON last night. Got both versions for Christmas and have been waiting on a couple of buds to do a TRONathon. That has proven tough to arrange so we finally decided to split the "thon" so to speak. Prolly should have taken a trip out to California for some medicine first - although if you think about the release date of the movie it puts it in a little better perspective.

I'm only a couple seasons in, but it's not like the ongoing plot is anything you can really make out. It's still vague. You can tell they didn't have a real plan for how to get where they're going and just trying to make it up as they go, which makes you wish they wouldn't have tried for that whole gimmick in the first place.
