Allow me to retort with one of my favorite (go-to) quotes:

“The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it.”

One problem with science is there is too much theory which later turns out to be false. Just because it's called science doesn't prove it to be true. Science can only show us what we can observe or measure at a moment in time. Me thinks that men then apply their presuppositions to what has been observed and measured to explain things that can no longer be observed or measured. Thereby falsifying their science.

As I've said elsewhere:

Religion is not science and therefore is not subject to proof.
Science is not religion and therefore is not subject to belief.

Stop mixing them up please, everyone.

The more and more I learn about physics and sciences, the more and more I realize we really don't know anything and there is most likely something much greater than ourselves.

The bulk of scientific discoveries have been to prove previous scientific facts as false. Isn't it ironic.. don't you think?

But then we wouldn't have a good, inflammable, hot topic to debate (argue over).

The bulk of scientific discoveries have been to prove previous scientific facts as false.(3)

(1) Overgeneralize much?

(2) You may be right. But that shouldn't discourage scientific inquiry, should it?

(3) Says who? There's a lot of scientific discoveries that don't contradict anything. Rather, they add something entirely new to our knowledge base. Then, there's a lot of scientific discoveries that reinforce current theories.
