Huh?

I always took it as just another excuse to party.

Except that's vastly oversimplifying. It's also used to provide for power of attorney, hospital visitation rights, insurance purposes, tax purposes... it's not just a symbol.

The word marriage is just a symbol. Apparently it means different things to different folks. Look personally I'm not against gay marriage but I am against the government dictating what marriage is... for hetero or homosexual couples.

It looks the traffic on BOTH sides of the highway is moving away from the viewer. Is that another Canadian highway surprise?

Right now there is only one direction. West to Albert for jobs. Unless of course you are already west of Alberta, in which case you are driving east for a job or staying put to grow weed in British Columbia.

And be a ski bum or mountain biker. That's what I wanted to do. Living in a Volkswagen van nonetheless.

Speaking of Mountain Bikes, here's the bike I had (same colour, Marzocchi shocks and everything (minus the aftermarket Oakley sticker). At $1500 bucks the Kona AA wasn't cheap, but it was one amazing bike.
