The specs on this receiver actually looks like it might even be a good one. I'm tempted to buy one for the 3D feature. But I can't right now, maybe later, if I can find one at a decent price.

I *almost* bit on the receiver. I am looking for something to power my bass shakers. I was going to go with a plate amp, but I like the clean look of a component such as a receiver, and since they are just bass shakers, a simple 2 channel will even work. No need for the other channels. I am sure that someone has a sub-$100 no frills receiver. I'll just have to wait...

No, I was waiting for the 1121-K, but I think I'll ultimately be getting the Onkyo TX-NR809. If I can scrape together the money. I recently decided to start going to the gym and paying a personal trainer, so all of the sudden, the receiver is a bit farther off.

On the plus side, soon Ken will be able to rip a receiver in half.
