Wow your right. Se how quickly it's forgotten. LoL. Good sound, bad story. Sounds like a formula for best picture to me.

Sounds like a typical best picture nominee.

Not terrible but was pretty average.

Out of the most recent crop of nominees, I saw Argo, Django Unchained, Life of Pi, and Silver Linings Playbook, and I thought they all had great stories.

Beasts of the southern wild is about a little black girl living with her dad. The poorest of the poor. Living off whatever food thy can find from the river and the land. Having to deal with an abusive dying father and her village flooding. Rejecting help, seeing them as the enemy.

You're right.

That DOES sound like a bad story.

Gladiator (extended cut) - Blu Ray.

Beautifully rendered video with a great sound track. I forgot how good Russel Crowe was in this epic film.

I like his stuff - especially when he was the bad guy in 3:10 to Yuma...

Its a story about broken things in a broken place as seen through the eyes of a young girl. I found the story quite compelling in an odd way.

I've been watching the original A-team on Netflix streaming.. Nothing like watching the original shows.
