God, I hate Christmas lights!

So we're trying to get the tree lit up. It's one of those faux pre-lit trees. I've got 2 strands that don't light up at all, even though there are strands after the dead ones that light up... and I've got a strand that is half lit, with the next strand fully lit. I've changed fuses and checked every light. Now I'm more bald than before.

We have had decent results with one of these: Light Keeper Pro. It isn't 100%, but has saved us from re-stringing our pre-lit tree, twice.

Hmmm. Thanks! Not exactly a glowing review, but might be worth the $20 to see if I can NOT replace the $200 tree.
