Borderlands 2: I was a big BL fan after the first one but the second one took it to a new level. By far the game of the year and one of the best games I've played in recent years. I took a break after beating it and have just now started playing the DLC. BTW this game is totally worth playing on a PC with a Nvidia card for PhysX. I've seen it on a 360 and it looks a million times better on my PC.

PlanetSide 2: Not much else to say other than, PC Gamer Multiplayer Shooter of the Year 2012. I can't stop playing this game it's so amazing. If it wasn't for BL2 existing I'd be saying this was the game of the year and it's only been out for a month (I did play during beta but it's so much better now). If you played the first one I'm sure you'll like this one as it's better in every possible way. I've never witnessed a game that can create battles like this one can. They are giving double XP thru Jan 2nd so it's a great time to start.

I hooked up my modded box in the living room today though.. Thinking about firing up zelda: a link to the past on SNES emulator to finish off my vacation.

Steam had BL2 for 30 bucks earlier in their holiday sale... sometimes at the end they will offer up the same deals.

Well if you ever do :p, remember to message me before you start because there's an important choice (the developers made a mistake IMO) you have to make shortly after starting. Basically if you don't choose to visit Pritchard first upon returning to Detroit (I could have the wrong city), you miss some storyline.
